March 8, 2016 - Tuesday in Nauvoo

It is official!  We are finally all unpacked, settled in and enjoying our new residence.  The move was a little challenging and it wore us out, but we are happy that it is over and we hope that our next move will be to 3955 East 146 North!  Here are some finished pictures;

And, this morning, after our first morning devotional and prayers in our new home, we blazed a new walking path around Nauvoo.  It seemed to be a few minutes longer than our old path so we will measure it out in the next few days.  However, we got some wonderful first light pictures of the sunrise and here they are!

After our walk, we did some more unpacking and arranging of our home.  It was a prelude to the work we will have when we get back home!  We were on the road to Quincy for some supplies as we prepare for our family visit over Easter Sunday this month!  Both mom and I are so excited to see our precious family members again!  It has been over a year now since we have seen Amy and Josh, and Cambry, and Isaac, and Callie, and Courtney! 

After our trip to Quincy we unloaded our supplies and made a quick change into our cleaning clothes and finished up the cleaning of our old residence.  We left it in better condition than we found it over six months ago.  Then, after a quiet dinner together, we dressed and drove down to Rendezvous.  I think our cast has its best night ever in front of about 75 audience members.  As we left the show it was raining and we headed straight home.  The garage was a special blessing as we did not have to go back out into the rain!
