Today is mom's half birthday! We were able to begin the celebration with our morning devotional and prayers. Then we took our long walk around our path. We were able to get an earlier start this morning and left the house by 5:45am. The picture below is a typical shot of one of the dozens of eagles we see along the Mississippi River. This picture was taken by the photographers we are replacing;

Our site assignment took us to the Visitors Center this morning. We had the early shift and we were working with the Ramsey's who have replaced us as the site leaders. We were also able to meet with the mission president and the previous photographers on where the Pickle Barrel production is headed. We should be in full swing of producing the show after our training is completed the month of March.

Our last official day at the Visitors Center |
After our shift we drove to Keokuk and mom was able to get the final materials for the baby blankets. I took some pictures, but my phone is acting up so I can't post those pictures tonight... The pictures I was able to post here were taken on the mission camera and I brought the SDHC card home and picked out the two I posted above. Mom took one and I took the other. We have so much to learn....
And then our final activity for the day was our Sunset practice tonight at the Visitors Center. This is going to be a fun show and the directors are doing a great job so far! They are so well prepared as we get oriented on the songs and the dances. We will be doubling our numbers within the next eight weeks so we will need to be prepared!
The cast then went up to the Stake Center and set up the breakfast tables for tomorrow's meeting. There was a wonderful feeling working together and practicing together tonight.
Crazy how the time flies! Now you are the old timers of the mission! ☺ You'll do a great job in your new assignment! Who knew you'd have to learn so many new "languages" on your mission??❤❤❤
