Today was our preparation day. After our morning prayers of gratitude for Faith being preserved, we got ourselves ready for the events of the day. We sent our greetings to Mia for her birthday and are so grateful for her. What a blessing it is to be a part of this precious family. It was quite apparent yesterday how quickly things can change within the sanctity of our families. It is so easy to take for granted our love for each other, our relationships, with each other, and our hopes and dreams as a family.
As a sweet token from our Heavenly Father, today mom and I were easily able to recognize His Hand in the lives of the Lasher's and the Sathre's. Both families had potentially life changing experiences that could have gone terribly wrong. Instead, we all received precious lessons of faith and testimony that Jesus loves each one of us, and is very much in the details of our lives.
Yes, we will continue along the Covenant Path that will lead us back to our Heavenly Home. Only today, after these tender mercies afforded each one of us, we were strengthened, and we will rejoice in the goodness, and the watch-care, that has been extended to our family. This has been the essence of our preparation day, and we are so very thankful for the generous outpouring of love, from Him, to mom and me, and each member of our wonderful family.
There is no place I would rather be than with my family and I know I speak for Granny as well! We love you and we continue to pray for you morning and night!
Thank you for your prayers and Faith! We are so thankful for the miracles, for the power of the Priesthood and the power of prayer! He is so good to bless us and help us and we are so, so thankful!
