We had about 100 visitors today at the mission Sacrament meeting. I had the sweet opportunity to assist in the blessing of the Sacrament. It is always humbling to think about the Sacrament prayers and to pay closer attention to the details that lead up to the promise that, "we can always have His spirit to be with us". That is the most wonderful message, ever!
And then, this afternoon, we got to listen to the world-wide youth broadcast. We could see in our minds eye the youth having the full and undivided attention of the Prophet of God! We stood with the youth during that closing song, and imagined we were standing side-by-side with Cambry, Zac, Isaac and Hayley!
I love President Nelson! I know he is the Prophet, and that his work is to raise us up to be better prepared to greet the Savior! What a blessing it has been since President Nelson was called and set apart as the Prophet, and to witness all the work he has accomplished in just a very short time!
Needless to say we are in the race to gather His children throughout the world. Each of us has been invited, encouraged and pleaded to participate, by our Prophet. I am so grateful for our grandchildren who have chosen to enlist in this youth army! We are right there with you!! Granny and I are anxious to hear how you do with the five challenges that President Nelson outlined along with the five mentioned by Sister Nelson.
And, in addition, to remember the notice President Nelson gave us in April; "In the coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting and constant influence of the Holy Ghost". These really are exciting times!
My final note here is in these two pictures. We finally saw our first, up-close, baby! He just stayed right by the road so that we could take his picture to share with you! And then I got the two older ones drinking at the Sweetwater River. There is lot's to see here and there is so much to feel!

This has been a wonderful Sabbath Day. The temperatures were in the low 70's and it is now cooling off and heading towards the 50's. It will be very good sleeping weather tonight! Thank you for checking in with us! We hope you had a great day as well!
The devotional was wonderful! I'm glad it's cooling off tonight for you! We sure love you!
ReplyDeleteIsaac said “I need a stack of for the strength of youth pamphlets- I’m going to hand them out to everyone!” I love how when the prophet speaks they are ready and willing to listen! He even deleted all his game apps and asked for a flip phone! Crazy!
ReplyDeleteAmy, that is awesome! Way to be, Isaac! Love you Granny and Grandpa!❤️
