We have had a wonderful day with our family here in Blue Springs. We began the day visiting with Julie before she took us to the 9:00am Sacrament Meeting. We had our morning devotional and prayers and then sat with Julie until it was time to leave for Church.

We met some good people at Church this morning and mom took the opportunity to bear her testimony! What a precious lady! And we met a senior couple who had just returned from their Mexico City Mission and they knew Sister Goodman, who is a sister serving with us in Nauvoo.
Julie picked us up after the Sacrament Meeting and we went back to her home to break our fast. We had our breakfast for dinner with her and waiting for Steve and Brenda to come by. Here are some pictures;

It was so much fun to visit with Steve and Brenda and renew acquaintances. It has been probably eight years since I saw Steve and Brenda when they came to Omaha to see Amy and Josh and Cambry and Isaac just after Callie and Courtney were born! Steve was scheduled to work today so they had to leave around 12:30pm. I was able to take this "Dorsey Family" reunion picture, only we were missing the Patriarch, PopPop. Here is the picture proof;

And just a few minutes later, Jenni came over with her two sons Brandon and J J. It was so fun to see Jenni again, and meet her two boys. I took the boys to the park for a walk and mom and Julie and Jenni stayed back and chatted. The boys were fun to be around. Brandon is 9 and J J is 7.

Hear the one about the officer asking "which way did he go"......??? |
Jenni was so excited about the possibility to come to Idaho for a vacation with her family. When I told the boys how many cousins they had in Idaho, they wanted to move there! Look forward to a possible visit this summer! We sure enjoyed our visit with them.
Both mom and I am grateful that we made this effort to come here. The visit was wonderful and we got some very good time together with each family. What a tender mercy we were allowed to come here and be with them over this weekend!!
Wow it's fun to see updated pictures of everyone!! I've never seen Jenny with long hair! So pretty! Glad you guys had a good visit!!
